With a lifelong passion for exploration and over 17 years of leadership experience as a college basketball coach, Michelle Roof brings unmatched energy, organization, and a service-first mindset to the world of travel planning. One of her favorite aspects of coaching was organizing team travel-ensuring every detail was handled and every experience ran smoothly. That same commitment to detail and people-first service now drives her work at RX Travel.
In 2020, Michelle proudly took over RX Travel from her mother, Becky Rogy, continuing a family tradition built on trust, relationships, and exceptional customer care. Today, she leads RX Travel with a personalized, hands-on approach-crafting custom itineraries that are stress-free, meaningful, and meticulously planned.
Michelle specializes in unforgettable leisure travel to Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and Greece, as well as expert planning for ocean and river cruises. In addition to leisure travel, she also provides corporate incentive travel services, helping businesses reward and inspire their teams through memorable, well-executed experiences.

Becky Rogy is a true veteran of the travel industry, with a career spanning over five decades. She began her journey in 1974 and quickly built a reputation for exceptional customer service, industry expertise, and a genuine talent for relationship building. Becky gained valuable experience working at respected agencies including Peoria Travel, World Wide Travel, and Ambassador Travel—where she served as manager—before joining Alexander Travel.
In 1999, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering commitment to her clients, Becky founded her own agency:
Rogy Xpert Travel (RX Travel).
Her loyal clients followed her without hesitation, a testament to the trust she had earned through years of personalized, attentive service.
Through countless industry shifts—from paper tickets to digital bookings, from global uncertainty to travel booms—Becky’s steady leadership and adaptability allowed RX Travel to not only survive, but thrive.
Now serving as Vice President of Operations, Becky continues to play a vital role behind the scenes in a consulting and business operations capacity. Her deep industry knowledge and strategic insight remain a guiding force for the agency she built from the ground up.

After more than 31 years of dedicated service with the Chicago Police Department—retiring as Commander of the 17th District—Michelene Alexa has transitioned from protecting communities to helping people explore the world. As a Destination Specialist at RX Travel, she now channels her passion for travel and people into designing meaningful, joy-filled experiences for her clients.
Throughout her career in law enforcement, Michelene served in nearly every tactical unit across the city, rising through the ranks from Officer to Sergeant, Lieutenant, and ultimately Commander. She spent decades helping others through their most challenging moments—always with compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment. Now, she brings that same level of care and attention to detail into curating trips that allow people to celebrate life, connect with loved ones, and create unforgettable memories.
For Michelene, travel isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about experiencing joy, healing, and wonder. Whether it’s a relaxing beach getaway, a milestone celebration, or a dream adventure abroad, she takes pride in guiding her clients every step of the way.
